I totally agree.

But it isn't that the things he says were/are secrets. Even this liberal knew ALL the details (and had the guts to say what he did).

Most thinking people, I think, would agree Bernie would have won against Trump...and it's the Democratic Party that was/is responsible for allowing Hillary's ascension.
How stupid are they??? Well now we know. Just as the pollsters missed the mark by underestimating the dissatisfaction of the American Public the Democratic Party must have thought the Public were just a bunch of boobs ready to eat any steaming pile they were offered....SURPRISE! !!

I seem to remember, from somewhere near my youth, that the Democrats were supposed to be the party of Peace and For the People...look at what they've become now...no better than any other pigs in the sty. The difference, had it still been in existence, would have made it easier to vote for a Democrat...but there being little distinction between parties now makes it easier to jump party (non-existent any more) lines.

I think Sanders would have won too. But Pie is wrong, Sanders isn't like Jeremy Corbyn, Sanders is a war monger and a fraud.

I think the arrogance of the Clinton team cost the democrats the election. Calling people deplorable and all those events. She came off as out of touch. Not to mention the fiddling that cost Sanders votes and Donna Brazile, uggh.

I think Clinton and all her fans in the media cost the Democrats the election. People aren't as dumb and as uneducated as the media or Hollywood like to portray. Whenever they show a white person from the south, they find the biggest idiot possible, yet when I've listened to Christopher Hitchens phone ins on youtube, I was astounded by the knowledge of some of the callers from the south. All I heard on election night is "uneducated whites" from the media, well screw the mainstream media, their tears, race baiting and lies.

Yes, the south is a horrible place of only narrow dirt roads and plywood hovels.
An 8th grade education is considered an advanced degree.
There is only squalor and meanness there.
Just as any northern or left coast liberal if you don't believe me.

I think the problem for the left in the UK and the US is on the social dimension, with the middle classes tending to be socially liberal and the labor/working class tending to be socially authoritarian/conservative. Whilst being on the economic left how to meld these differing social positions into a unified political force is the major headache.
How to include the labor/working classes, who increasingly feel excluded, whilst not pandering to the worst elements of social conservatism ,such as misogyny,racism,religious bigotry and sexism, is the central issue.

I'll tell you what has happened. One of the main reasons for mass immigration has been to destroy the working class, divide the working class and to destroy the labor movement. Now we have those on the 'far left' that still speak for the working class but they are so weighed down in identity politics and their biggest concern in life is looking for racism and making sure they aren't labelled as racist.

I partly agree partly disagree. The most enthusiastic Trump supporters were enamored with him from the get/go and impervious to changing their mind. When Hillary referred to the "basket of deplorables" she was essentially making a correct observation (not necessarily that they are deplorable but that she can't win them over ever). The die hard racists are coming out of the woodwork now that they have support from Trump.

The biggest problem was simply that Hillary has too many scandals. The independents like myself studied the wikileaks and simply could not bring themselves to vote for her. (I'm talking about a hypothetical vote since I didn't actually vote)

The online news source I watch got it correct as well. The mainstream media, CNN/MSNBC/FOX, are nothing more than establishment outlets full of lies and B.S. . If you want the truth do not get your news from them.

Read Wikileaks and the coordination between the media and the Hillary campaign, they have no credibility and acted essentially as an arm of her campaign. I think that is illegal and should be investigated, at the very least there have been some FEC violations.

Hillary was a fatally flawed candidate that couldn't win on her own, imagine if the media didn't carry her weight for her this time and if Trump spent an equal amount of money. It wouldn't of been even close, we would be calling Hillary's campaign fraudulent if it happened in any other country. I said this about Hillary the entire time, I never wavered in my belief that she would be defeated(unless they got the match up with Jeb like they wanted) and warned you guys the entire time. Everything that I said would happen happened so perhaps you should sit down and listen sometimes.
