This thread is not for the purpose of religious debate, Christian/Atheist issues, or a forum for hate speech. As a Christian (SBC), I am finding it exceedingly difficult locating Christian resources for aspies, particularly sites similar to this but devoted solely to Christians. If anyone has some good sources to share, this would be the place.

Thanks

Did you ever stop to think that maybe - just maybe - the Holy Bible is all you need?

Everything else is just noise ...

Christianforums.com has an autism and aspergers forum.

I just took a look at that Christian Forum site, and after a few minutes, I had to leave for all the bigotry and ignorance. Such as one thread asking where James Gandolfini is - and is answered by another member saying that he's in hell. Another asked if there were any Christians before Luther - I'm a Lutheran, and I find that offensive! I just couldn't handle looking at it anymore.

You Christians are so wild and crazy and silly, the whole lot of you. Where is the love of Jesus located these days, anyway?

If I live to be 1000 I will never comprehend the Mind of the Gentile. And this in spite of the fact that most of the people I interact with are Gentile. It is a complete mystery to me.

This is really sad. I started this thread to merely inquire if anyone knew of any sites or resources devoted to Christian aspies, but all that has happened is it has turned into a place for bickering. Did no one read what I posted? Only Cash contributed something worthwhile. I came to Wrong Planet hoping to find something better than the other aspie sites, but it’s no different. In fact, in many ways it’s worse.

If you read my post, you will see I am disapproving of that site - and I'm obviously a Gentile.

your sentimentality is still a complete mystery to me. No doubt you have loads of good intentions (almost everyone does) but do I have to tell you what road is paved with good intentions?

I apologize if I came across as bickering in any way. I was merely stating my distaste for the Christian Forums site. As I said, I found it rather rude for people fancying themselves to be Christians to be damning someone else to hell who has just passed away. That, and in another thread, someone was trying to have his dream involving an angel with a scroll appearing in a hospital interpreted - now, that's just nuts.

Yeah, being a Missouri Synod Lutheran, I'm used to a**holes in our St. Louis headquarters spouting stupid and embarrassing stuff, but this takes the cake!

No. Just the ones who say silly and stupid things. Or vile things. i have no opinions of people who keep silent.
