Are men human beings?

Of course men are human beings but according to society and the radical feminists agenda all men are evil sex craved subhuman swine, yet their fathers, brothers, and sons, are men. Men are human beings, have emotion just like women do but society ignores that, society ignores problems men face, if a woman is raped it is noticed and the woman faces sympathy and support, however if a man is raped he is ridiculed and told he must have enjoyed it, if a woman is abused via domestic violence she gets sympathy but on the flipside when a man is abused he is expected to man up! I am not sure whether this is the patriarchy or radical feminism doing this, maybe both but maybe it is time femenists rise up and speak up for men for a change, if they dont then I suppose it is up for humanists like myself because someone has to speak up for both sides esspecially someone who has experienced being a male rape victim as well as a male victim of domestic violence and have a voice made and no longer be silenced!

I hope this thread does not get locked but if it does then it goes to show that there is no free speech or expression and that males are not human but we are, we are just as human as women and also have emotions and face as many problems as women and should not be ignored or silenced. Male rape and abuse should not be overlooked but it is, female victims of course are not, rape and abuse goes both ways and both sexes experience pressure via stereotypes and this is the truth but how society sees things, males dont have troubles at all, they beat women are sex fiends and never get abused or raped, and when it does happen it is funny, women are viewed as victims all the time, even abusive women and have problems all the time and men are to blame for everything. So it is perfectly fine to make comedy out of a man being raped or abused because he either enjoyed it, probably deserved it, or is expected to man up. I don't know about you but the double standards are sickening and make me want to throw up and give up on humanity altogether with this one sided sexism crap! I am just confused to whether it is the patriarchy is to blame for this bigoted sexism, or radical feminism, both against feminism and equality, as fearing to speak out against radical feminists *fake feminists who are sexists* I will be labeled as an anti feminist or as an MRA, if I am to speak out against the so called patriarchy I will be labeled as a white knight or a mangina. But I am starting to think that the patriarchy and rad feminism are one in the same, they both have the same goal only different directions, promote oppression between sexes, genders and demonize one sex time and time again.

I am just sick of sexism and how society uses its double standards and want to be heard and not ignored, it goes both ways and it is a fact and it seem society supports sexism but is too afraid to admit it and just shoves it under the carpet and acts like it only goes one way.

I recall how Bill Maher had told his female guests about being male: "We are different. We're not just defective females."

"The Patriarchy", as defined by feminists, is an ideological myth, spread by religious zealots whose primary goal is to rewrite history and cast every member of the male sex in the role of evil oppressor.

Do yourself a favour and steer away from that kind of thinking.

All the stuff about patriarchy and feminism - I totally see what you mean, agree with a lot of it, but in my experience this kind of ranting only ever produces a very temporary and incomplete sort of relief. Best to take care of your own stuff and get away from / ignore those who are bad for you, as far as possible. YMMV.

Being on the Left is to be a member of a coalition where you adopt the movements of fellow coalition groups, as your own personal cause. You can't be against class struggle, and not also be for the destruction of gender roles. The narrative of race, gender, class, and the environment are a one-size fits all agenda, and to pick to stand for the environment and class but not the others... well, then it all falls apart. Power in numbers, numbers you don't have if each movement went it alone.

So it may be best for you to accept your beta second-class status and fall in line with the narrative of women. When the feminist agenda wins, so too will the attempt to save the oceans, end economic inequality, or seeing blacks with greater political representation, things you probably also care about.

You've just got to have faith and defend all members of this coalition and their agendas, and we'll all at least get something out of this. We need the unfortunate experience of each victim group we defend, from women, to gays, to muslims, to blacks in America, to help make the Right look bad. Once they look bad, they wont' have any moral legitimacy, and we'll rule this country, and you'll at least get something out of it. But it requires everyone doing their part to defend one another from inquiry. When someone gets critical of women or muslims, it is your job to defend these groups, because we all rise and fall together.

Yep, let's keep throwing s**t in the vain hope that we get more of it on our opponents than we get on ourselves. That'll fix everything.

And apparently some men too, along with a variety of people of different identities, etc.

It's actually a mature view of politics when it comes down to what it's really actually about. And that is power. It's about empowering you to think you can actually change the world, to go out and vote for the coalition of victims, who when placed in power, can change the world on your behalf. Which can't be done... if we're not in power.

Naming oneself a victim does not a victim make. Left or right, all are equally self-serving. The 'coalition of "victims"' would quickly bankrupt any country they got a firm grip on. Explain how this would benefit anyone.

This is a misunderstanding of the jurisdiction of free speech. The jurisdiction of free speech is not WP but the land. If you think you have rights over WP, you are in fact intending to violate their rights.

You cannot force a site to publish what you say, that is violating their free speech becuase you have been give permission to publish here. There is no obligation for anyone to carry your words and they do so under their terms. A site that doesn't have public contribution isn't obligated to do so nor are you guaranteed to be listened too.

It should be pretty obvious but this argument is made often becuase people forget they signed up to be on a site, as they in fact have a lot of freedom, when it is limited they complain because you confuse it with a country.

One right can't limit another's so I can't force you to speak for me.

So do you support keeping people silent who speak up against oppression and discrimination?
