The thing with law is that it should either be equally applied, or... cause and consequence. The five that died in Dallas today may have had nothing to do with murdering anyone themselves, but even if it's their colleagues... how many judges simply discharged those who simply enlist to be 'more immune' when participating in murder. If one is given the license to kill, then others would simply want equal treatment (and thus stupid judges enabled extremism all over). So, really, I hope *someone* mentions this in the US, because it *is* supposed to be the law the prevents this, but effectively in many of these cases it's further instigated violence, whether by other police or avengers.

So you're saying Judges are responsible for releasing police officers when they kill someone (because they have legal immunity)? Our Judges have to follow the law...how do your Magistrates do things "over there?"

Perhaps you don't understand our system of jurisprudence? Here, if a judge decides to make up laws on his/her own, they make themselves subject to censure.

Mootoo in recent months, you seem to be very focused on blaming someone or some group for something. You've really got a theme going there....

If the Judge is acting in accordance to the Law he should bear no blame. Our Law is such that it is better to free an evil-doer wrongly convicted than to punish an innocent person rightly convicted. The default is to given due process even if some of the bad guys go free....
