If you believe in a one-world government, then which of the following forms should it take?

Anarchy. No government structure. In many cases, family bonds predominate.

Company/Corporation. Government by a company managerial elite; citizens are company employees.

Participating Democracy. Government by advice and consent of the citizen.

Self-Perpetuating Oligarchy. Government by a restricted minority, with little or no input from the masses.

Representative Democracy. Government by elected representatives.

Feudal Technocracy. Government by specific individuals for those who agree to be ruled. Relationships are based on the performance of technical activities which are mutually beneficial.

Civil Service Bureaucracy. Government by agencies employing individuals selected for their expertise.

Impersonal Bureaucracy. Government by agencies which are insulated from the governed.

Charismatic Dictator. Government by a single leader enjoying the confidence of the citizens.

Non-Charismatic Leader. A previous charismatic dictator has been replaced by a leader through "normal" channels.

Charismatic Oligarchy. Government by a select group, organization, or class enjoying the overwhelming confidence of the citizenry.

Non-Charismatic Oligarchy. Government by a select group, organization, or class interested solely in maintaining the status-quo at the expense of its oppressed.

Religious Dictatorship. Government by a religious organization without regard to the specific needs of the citizenry.

I picked Participatory Democracy--for obvious reasons.

All the other choices carried no appeal to me, except, perhaps, representational a Democracy.

I don't believe in World Government, but the corporation option seems the only likely way I think it could actually happen and then stick. If the corporation spread and grew organically, becoming entwined in people's lives so much that it just grew and grew to encompass and cater for literally everything in people's lives and people being happy with that. It becomes so big and influential it just basically renders the governments of the World irrelevant. Maybe one day Google or Amazon will rule the World...

I don't see the option for federation of broadly independent member states with strict constitutional limits on centralization of power.

This looks like a GURPS list, and given the author of the thread, it's a likely source.

I am generally opposed to the concept of a NWO based government.

however if given the choice I would rather have a stateless society based on the free spirited principles of Anarchism from which power rests within the hands of the individual rather than the state.

all forms of statist authority are corrupt just as we humans are corrupt.

To be GOVERNED is to be at every operation, at every transaction noted, registered, counted, taxed, stamped, measured, numbered, assessed, licensed, authorized, admonished, prevented, forbidden, reformed, corrected, punished. It is, under pretext of public utility, and in the name of the general interest, to be place under contribution, drilled, fleeced, exploited, monopolized, extorted from, squeezed, hoaxed, robbed; then, at the slightest resistance, the first word of complaint, to be repressed, fined, vilified, harassed, hunted down, abused, clubbed, disarmed, bound, choked, imprisoned, judged, condemned, shot, deported, sacrificed, sold, betrayed; and to crown all, mocked, ridiculed, derided, outraged, dishonored. That is government; that is its justice; that is its morality." -Pierre-Joseph Proudhon

Preferably no world government, because the larger the number of people you are trying to please gets, the more of a failure your attempt is. Democracy compounds this, because a majority of people on the other half of the entire planet can win votes regarding your life when they don't have a clue about what you need.

It would only work if the population of the Earth were also a homogenous civilization with shared ideals, which will never happen. Even if everyone is under the same government, they're still different.

A little history goes a long way. Take a look at all the major empires in history and how they fell.

None of the above, no world government at all. I know we kind of have it now any money always talks, but for a poll question I can be an idealist.
