Which is better, in your opinion ?

Having a government that understands people, and the way that people function in their daily lives, and has a sense of humor.
And sometimes, because it has a sense of humor and understands people, it can dish out mega doses of injustice sometimes, and can accidentally foster true injustices and discrimination because it has a sense of humor, which can create an unstable an non-standardized system of justice, whereby two different judges hear the exact same case and make opposite rulings, with equally varying results in the appeals process...

And leave some people offended, whether or not it is real, or politically conjured up and manufactured by special interest ?


Or is it better, the way things are now... where you NEVER write anything on a contract, always let your lawyer write the contract... and never mix life or jokes with official business people. and NEVER say anything to people that you professionally serve, that you wouldn't want to stand up and defend in court ?



And...

Are things the way that they are because the government is a jerk ?

Or is it because people are jerks, and in the professional world, a jerk's mind moves extremely quickly, and they know when, how, why and where they can rob you, and so therefore the Government is doing the best it can do to have standards to protect the people ?

Jokes enable you to write contracts? I don't get the dichotomy...
