It seems like his cult thinks Israel is the perfect model (despite the 'alt-right' supposedly hating Jews... such cognitive dissonance), but of course, Hamas does fire rockets... where's the boogeyman and their tactics in the states' case? Is there really even anyone posing any threat at all? Clearly drug warlords are confined to and mostly damage their own country... (mentioning rapists is ironic when he's being accused of that himself)... but it really doesn't seem to be any worse than gangs in the country just north, unless somehow they're deporting anyone with any aggression in them, in which case they'd deport his cult...? (Well, that is the hypothetical logic used by them, anyway...)

But, really, which shadow hunts who? And why should it be a replica of Israel when it effectively created its own problems through occupation? (Or could Mexico be invaded too? That would obviously be beyond what is currently said, but would make some sort of sense in emulating Israel)...

Any of this makes any sense? I suppose not, as nothing does in this election...

I really doubt it.

I seriously doubt that most Americans do. Those that do hate Mexico are more motivated by old fashioned, stupid racism.

Granted, there are some military industrial complex fetishists who see everything as a threat. And there's racists, too.

With the current state of the world's countries being subjected to mass immigration, it is uncontrolled immigration and illegal immigration that is being seen as the existential threat - one to a nation's culture, security, economy.

Many will try and paint us as a united world when our values, customs and a lot more extremely divide us. If every country had the infrastructure in place, the organisation to handle millions more people, and every country in the world had the same morals, religion (or lack of), laws etc. then this wouldn't be seen so much as a threat. It would be like the one world government and nation of Star Trek. However at this point in time that is but a utopian ideology.

If you mean "do Americans fear that the Mexican army will march north across the Rio Grande and might succeed in conquering the USA?" the answer is no. Even the most hysterical Trump supporter doesnt believe that.

If you mean "are there Americans who are afraid that so many immigrants will seep in under the southern door that Hispanics will threaten our Anglo American culture - then the answer is that yes there are some who worry about that.

I don't think Mexico is a threat to the U.S., though I would like to see them take a more aggressive stance against cartel leaders in their own country, something the PRI (the predominant political party) is not know for.

However, Mexico is close to legalizing marijuana, so that would be a good step in that direction.

Back in 1916 when Poncho Villa was crossing the border into Texas to do mayhem and murder Villa was an existential threat.

(The existential threat of plague-infested chorizo water has technically been funneled, into the Salton Sea.

But, the comparison between Mexico and Palestine was especially apt, since La Raza and the PLO have publicly called themselves sister movements. Yes, really.

But when has La Razza killed anyone?

May I ask the state of your highschool? You don't have to answer, if you don't like. I've lifted lots of weights, not out of machismo, but because I was mortified. Existential threats came to mind.

On the geopolitical level, I would consider it more of a drawn out process.

it has been noted that Mexico controls it's own southern borders, somewhat viciously. Yet, Islamist paraphernalia is found in the desert. People from across the Atlantic wash up in craft, which are not sea worthy. How does that work, without a complicit Mexico.

What attempts has Mexico made, to improve the Malthusian carrying capacity of it's own land, using it's notorious labor surplus or industrial army.

I'm willing to credit the sulfurous stench to fumaroles, but can smell the Salton Sea, over two counties. MS-13 is gratified, where I walk my dogs, and drunk Santa Muerte cultists beat their wives, in the church parkinglot, within direct line of sight from my front porch. Probably, through no fault of their own, subsidized labor has displaced 85% of the neighborhood, where I have lived for 25yrs. They are afforded credit with no strings attached, with their own special line at the bank, driving up prices for everyone, look down their nouveau riche noses at white people, then their luxury cars get repossessed in rushhour traffic. There is a season when credit runs out, and their entire neighborhoods go up for sale, every so often.

We are forever being told there is not enough to go around.

Anyone who feels that I am being bigoted is invited to research Fox's ancestry and Mexico's treatment of the indigenous. Mexico is a political movement, not a race, and those are negotiable.

Of course Mexicans aren't a race, anymore than Americans are. And yes, the indigenous population are treated abominably, while African Mexicans are all but invisible in their poverty.
I can't speak intelligibly about Latino people in your neck of the woods, as I don't live there, save for the fact that racism is often directed at them in the Southwest.

Comparing Mexicans to Palestinians? Do you have any idea what you're talking about?

My point is that one candidate seems to do so, and it could be a comparable situation in the future insofar as some sort of shield is used to separate one from the other, although I thought the Israeli border was more dangerous...

Yes. They think Mexicans are extremely lazy, dirty, smelly, and everyone of Mexican heritage living in their country is an illegal alien. The host of What Would You Do? who is Mexican-American, once received a voice message of a woman screaming at him to "GO BACK TO MEXICO!"

I really have no clue why Americans see them this way, but I'm sure they'll eventually decide to nuke them and murder lots of innocent people like they did to Japan in WW2, or something else just as horrible, whether Trump because president or not.
