They have tried to restore just a little safety blanket of dignity to the seat of the US Government. I don't know whether to feel disgusted at the corruption just underneath it, or to feel happy that they at least have enough of a collective sense of shame to make the smallest effort to cover it up.
They brought in a Marine to run the show. If he runs it in a familiar way, this facade of normality will persist. Maybe it will help with my IWHF, by reducing the amount of insanity I see coming from the WH on a daily basis. I hope he succeeds, but fails just enough to let the gang keep shooting straight at their own feet from time to time. I'll take often, rather than constantly, thanks.
