Cell phones and wifi access points/routers transmit and receive at microwave frequencies, albeit they put out significantly less power than microwave ovens.
Whether or nor long term exposure to low power microwaves causes cancer is still up for debate.
A lot of things we are exposed to on a regular basis can cause cancer but few of these things are carcinogenic or mutagenic enough to cause cancer at rates that rise above the noise of statistical uncertainty and academic status jockeying.
