So was Obama. But Trump's cult comes with a cool hat and cool "MAGA" title.

I dunno about that. I didn't like Obama, but his supporters were nowhere near as fanatical as Trump's supporters are. Most of them were just naive enough to think that just because he would be our first black president that electing him would solve all our problems as a nation. Obviously that did not happen.

I learned from the Obama administration not to judge a potential leader based on things like race or gender. That's why I have not jumped one the "We NEED a female president!! !" Bandwagon.

I would support another rich old white dude as long as he can actually FIX THIS DAMN COUNTRY! Or a non-white president or female president, but again they need to FIX THIS DAMN COUNTRY!! !

But as for Trump, he's a mess. I think he's going to end up being the biggest mistake that this country ever made (well he kinda already us). We will look back on this years from now with regret. I garuntee you of that.

Funny thing about Democrats. They are quicker to turn their backs on their own candidates for any scandal than the Republicans are their own candidates. Trump's relationship with the GOP and Evangelical Christiains who turn a blind eye to his crap because he gives THEM more power and influence over the country is proof of that. If Trump were a Democrat he wouldn't be getting away with things like locking hispanic children in cages and abandoning our allies to die in Syria. Not to mention the hateful sexist and racist BS coming out his mouth and onto Twitter.

Must be why the Democrats have politically dug their own graves? Maybe they should have been more like him. Just a thought...

And speaking of Trump's cult, there's a scary group of militias called "The Oath Keepers" itching to start a civil war on the command of their dear leader.

Pro-trump threads here are a bit of a rarity. Hardly anything resembling fanatical.

Whereas there have been 28932983589 anti-trump posts here.

And as Nov 2020 approaches it is going to get more and more frequent and frantic.

"The Resistance" seems far more fanatical to me.

That's not the way I see it.

And Trump is a malignant narcissist. Do a little research into the history of the world to understand what happens whenever those guys take over a country. It aint pretty.

I wonder how we can deprogram the Trump cult to make them understand that they are being brainwashed? Perhaps by not shouting "You guys are nazis!! !!" and realizing that they, like all cultists, are actually victims.

I even see the Nazis themselves as a political cult who didn't realize they were being victimized by Hitler's manipulation at the time (not saying Trump supporters are Nazis, but I know I have done that before and I apologize).

I hope our country can heal from this...

How so? I don't recall Obama supporters hanging on his every word, and rejecting everything from legitimate news sources, to scientists, to academia. In fact, as I recall, that was the right even back then.

Why should there be many pro-Trump articles?

I agree. I don't see the good that Trump has done. Yeah people claim that the economy is better, but at what price?

Our country has basically sold its soul to the devil.
