I understand that a lot of you were raised as Christian, and were kind and honest but were returned with hatred. So was I. At times I wanted to leave my faith and become a druid, to "show them" and invoke their anger, to drink and have sex and live a sinful life. But I found that the true Christians--those that were kind and showed faith in God--treated me with the same kindness I showed others. You must understand that humans are flawed, that some people are inevitably going to be jerks. Some jerks will claim to be Christians, but aren't. These people serve as Satan's tools to turn you against the faith. I believe Aspies have a special connection to God. Don't let the actions of apostates deter you.

You wrote in my thread about risperdal saving you from depression.

Now you are telling people to convert to christianity and saying that aspies are close to God?

You confuse me.

Why does everything have to be conservative or liberal. There are good and bad people on both sides. Jerks are everywhere dispite political or religious affiliation or any other factor.

I was born christian and left as I just didn't beleive it
its all built on fear and stuff

Religion and numerous sexual encounters are not aspie traits.

Some aspies and auties are religious. I also know a high functioning aspie who is sexually active. Asperger's traits have nothing to do with religion or sexuality though many do not show interest in one or either of these traits. There is a lot of fear in the Bible and alot of love. In many places the fear would be best translated as awe but culture didn't do that.

Probably right but he has two of those traits.

Plus being a journalist requires a bit of social written skills. I can write well. but I always end up offending. I am sure this dude has no trouble like this at all.

so, I agree that the old 'Liberal vs Conservative' argument is outmoded and out dated. Besides the opposite of Liberal is AUTHORITARIANISM, not 'Conservative'.

There can be correlation between right/left and libertarian/authoritarian, but they depend on the country. In the US, people with authoritarian tendencies tend to be right wing, but in Russia they tend to vote communist. I don't know how strong the correlations are.
