Me, Radical Left

The most accurate comparison to my belief would probably be The SDP of Germany, even though I'm American.

Socially liberal, economically laissez-faire. So something of a libertarian centrist.

Me, I'm a socialist conservative.

About four feathers left of center.

I'm conservative and liberal. Depends on the issue.

Anarcho-capitalist, either we are at the head, the tail, or off the bird completely. (I would doubt the tail though, where would we put the fascists then?)

I'd say largely to the left. I think a lot of social issues belong in your own house. Any government that worries more about marriage laws or the exact moment when a human is a human being before taking on real social problems is sick and disturbed.

I don't relate to the one-dimensional political spectrum at all. Even two-dimensional representations of political views, such as the "political compass", don't really summarize the way I think.

Let's face it - every single issue is very complicated. If you're going to form a political opinion on an issue, you should research it from as many different angles as possible and then decide what you think about that issue, whether or not your view is in agreement with the party you belong to or your favorite politician.

I used to follow politics when I was younger. Now my mentality is more along the lines of, "We're screwed no matter what." / "It is highly unlikely you will actually make a difference" / "Nothing ever really changes much - history just repeats itself."

I have certain opinions on certain issues, but I'd rather not waste my time worrying about things beyond my control, so I am effectively apolitical.

But how is Mininews supposed to control you if you can process complex thoiught?

The reason for this mentality is that the power elite is what truly runs the country. I do not mean the Illuminati, but wealthy, White Anglo-Saxon Protestants own most of the positions of power politically and economically in the United States. Once you actually read up on the real history of the United States, you (and I) can't help but feel that way.
