Quote:
Sometimes, the truth is really really important, such as in this case. The U. S. Constitutiion clearly states that in order to be eligible to hold office as the President of the United States you have to be a "natural born" citizen. Our forefathers had a reason for putting this requirement in the U.S. Constitution. We, the citizens, need to know the truth.

http://www.obamacrimes.info/

There is a growing concern among many, including many Democrats, that Obama isn't a natural born and legal resident of the United States. His citizenship may actually be Kenyan. At great expense he locked up ALL documents pertaining to his legal status, and only permitted a small few to view them. When asked about them their responses have been that they have seen the documents, however they don't exactly come out and say if those documents are legit... and that's all they say. This is BS! I have a legal right as a U.S. born and legal resident to know if the man running this country is born here and a legal resident.

If it is somehow proven his presidency would become illegitimate. All executive orders and laws he signed would become null and void. His time as Senator would be stricken from the record. He could also face criminal charges.

Say what you wish but until the man knocks off the "secrecy" game I won't trust him. Actually the stuff he's done makes me not trust him NOW... this is only amplifying my mistrust of him!

I'm ok if he was born in Iran...

Basically what I'm saying is people would be ok if Arnold became president - but apparently you can't handle the mixed breed who might actually be good for something - in the world wide aspect of things, other than to make people really mad.

We're not unbeatable, we're not protected, we're the same as everyone else on earth. If we keep making people mad.

We'll die.

Thanks Nim,

My sentiments exactly. We finally get a decent president, obviously born in Hawaii.. and people have to make up stupid rumors.

You never know... But now that Obama's president, we really should stop these rumors and come together as one nation. Although you could have a point, Obama was most likely born in Hawaii, not Kenya.

My dad fears obama, all he keeps saying is "he's really f'ing up, I hate hte guy, he freed prisoners that want to kill us"... me : "which ones are those pops?" .... him : "the terrorist guys from the prisons, he pardoned them... they want to kill us and he pardoned them" ... me : "he probably had a good reason - aka they weren't a threat"... him : "all I know is obama is really messing up man, I'm not a republican but I really wish mccain would have won, or hillary" .. me : "give him a chance pops"...

This goes on all the time... for the same reason that lady said "Obama is a Arab"... and what does "Juan" Mccain respond?...

"A decent family man Citizen.." ... Why not say a decent hard working American family man? Is it really so hard to give a compliment? .. Does fox really have to keep coming up with "Obama's popularity slipping"... news storys every week when they wouldn't even report that Mccain was losing even after he lost?

This isn't about race. It's about the rule of LAW. Something Obama should know as a lawyer.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. How does this even remotely related to the topic?

It's not a stupid rumor. Most of the Hawaiian COLB show alterations. At the bottom of each there's a notice that reads "Any Alterations Invalidate This Document".

Except any documents showing this have been locked away and not made public. As a public official he has to show he has the legal status to become president. So far he hasn't.

Link #1 --> Snopes' Article that debunks the Kxmode's claim

Link #2 --> Barack Obama's Birth Certificate

Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii on Aug. 4, 1961, two years after Hawaii was made a State (Aug 21, 1959).

Kxmode should go back to trying to prove that Bigfoot is real, that there was a second shooter on the grassy knoll, and that the Apollo 11 Moon landing was played out somewhere near Area 51.

The first rule my teacher taught me in English class was never make a comment without backing it up with sources. No disrespect intended but please don't group me in with your father. Unlike him I cite sources. I have also cited sources for every post I've made on WP and I will continue to post sources for everything I post. The reason I do this is because I know this forum tends to be hostile towards these kinds of posts.

Edit: I'm not trying to be hostile towards anyone. I love WrongPlanet. I think this site/forum is the best online. The most important thing I desire in life is truth. If someone isn't giving me the truth it makes me uneasy and cautious. Right now I'm feeling VERY uneasy and cautious about Obama. If you don't care to learn about this topic that's fine, but please don't bash me.

I actually don't believe in any of those but thank you for the stereotype

:P All is well...

Its just annoying that people where trying to kick him out before he even got in. That to me says winner, because if we stay the same we will all die... or Mccain would, which ever came first. If he isn't a natural born, then by all means kick him out - I just don't believe it would be so easy to dupe millions of people searching for info and the entire government. Not to mention a gasping for air GOP.

You're welcome. I've read the "claims" against Mr. Obama's citizenship posted on the website you provided, none of which hold up under critical examination.

Every stereotype has a seed of truth. I should not have posted "go back to trying to prove" when I meant "try to prove". There are so many people making false and unsubtantiable claims of one conspiracy or another that it has become difficult for me to remember which of you is which, and who made what claim. My bad.
