Personally, I think school should go back to the "Four R's":
Reading (Literature, History, et cetera)
W
riting (Creative, essay, reports, poetry, et cetera)
A
rithmetic (Calculus is all about differentiation and integration, after all)
Reason (How to hypothesize, theorize, and investigate reality - which leads to science)
Toss out useless crap like competitive sports, prom night, and "Arts & Crafts" classes.
