Take note of the word "theory". Its just a news article.

A theory could either be a speculation or a well established system of hypotheses and well verified predictions, as in the -theory- of gravitation. Or as in quantum -theory-.

I would say that this "theory" is speculation on the part of scientists.

Has a pic of what a 150-year-old person
will look like been released
to the public yet?

If not, then longer longevity is just,
as said in the article "pseudo science."

That's ridiculous. We don't actually live much longer these days; it's just that fewer people die young from illness or accident, and the media doesn't know what the word "average" means.

Got to love those crazy averages :P

This news is not going to surprise many in the scientific circles.

The current thinking is anti-aging tissue transplant technology, diet and drugs will extend the live's of children born right now in the western world to around 1000 years.

Quick! Raise the social Security age to 130 before it's too late.

Wonder if the new healthcare act will eventually cover 60 month tune ups.

There is definitely a market for those that could afford it. If it can happen for some it probably will. But, I doubt insurance companies would cover it, anymore than they cover breast implants, facelifts, or botox.

I've known some people in their 90's that might be able to handle the psychology of it. But I think the psychology of it already works in tandem with those that live the longest of lives. Research suggests it.

Wonder if they can create a happiness pill while they are at it. While one might find the ability to escape age, quality of life is relative, often not associated with the circumstances we think are the best of ones.
