"In 2015, 13.5% (43.1 million) of Americans lived in poverty"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poverty_i ... ted_StatesPoverty is simply defined as "low income".
So, someone with 10 million dollars in assets can be "in poverty".
In the US, "in 2005,
63.7% of those living in poverty had cable or satellite television".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poverty_i ... ted_StatesI live below the poverty level and have satellite tv,only becuse I called then to turn it off becuse I couldn't afford it.They gave me a deal where I only pay 29$ a month for it.Otherwise I was cancelling it.Some of the low income housing has cable, they get a big discount on it.
As for poverty, with the low temps we had I know of several people who's water pipes burst. They have no water now becuse they can't afford to repair it.
You've never been here, you have no idea.
Check out some of the YouTube videos on Pine Bluff Ar,yeah we're just rolling in the dough.
