Absolutely not. In fact, the Muslim Brotherhood - as I understand it - constitute a number of different groups, some more radical than others.

Well to reduce things to their simplest, Hamas are celebrating the election of an Islamist in Egypt.

If Egypt opens the border with Gaza, that gives Iran a way in to prop up Hamas.

If it is a result that Hamas celebrates, then it is a result that causes me to pause and wonder at its wisdom.

I will sit back and wait.

I know I will likely get alot of hate for this but I believe we do not need to be involved in other countries' government/society if they do not want us to be. A student I knew from Cairo hated Hosni Mubarak because to him, he was merely a puppet of the U.S. and ergo, did not represent the Egyptian people. In my opinion, if they want the Muslim Brotherhood to run things, let them! If they feel that their elections have been "rigged," let them deal with it!

After talking to a friend that lives in Egypt he told me. That the muslim brotherhood memmber that won. Is just a puppet so their isn't much of a threat.
