A person should be able to hire and fire unless there is a contract which restricts the conditions of dismissal.

In any case the dentist is a jackass. Just because his secretary give him a boner (inadvertently) is no reason to blame the woman. The dentist was overcome by Lust and shame on him!! !!

Yeah... the dentist's name is there for all to see. This must have been a poorly thought out decision because he will likely lose business because of it while she will likely get another job with a better employer.

If he can't exercise more self-restraint than that, how is he with patients? A dentist has to be up close and personal with a lot of people. Maybe he's in the wrong line of work.

Firing someone because of a person's physical attractiveness? That's ridiculous.

Not only was the dentist an idiot for firing his secretary, he was also paranoid that she might try to ruin his marriage.

Clearly the dentist is not only a douchebag but a poor businessman.
Hot assistants bring in more business which is always a good thing in the real world...

I've been outdone, twice in a row, by the eagle-lizard pair again.

I'm imagining this dentist is trying to drill my teeth, except his eyes are wandering and his hands are shaking because his assistant is distracting him. I don't want to be the guy gets the drill poked through the back of his neck so this gal can keep her job. And if you think that's unfair, then take up a collection to send her to dental college so she can open her own practice, and her career will be assured as guys flock to her with feigned toothaches.
