Oh, lovely. One of my punchlines drops dead.

No reports state cause of death but my first thought was diet pills had damaged the heart or possibly suicide to escape her intolerable grief. Conspiracy theories hmm I thought she'd lost some of the millions anyway. All said and done I was quite shocked at her early departure, but considering her lifestyle maybe it was on the cards.

I think she is like Paris Hilton. A waste-of-space. There were two things that she did right (and the first is somewhat dubious in terms of contribution to society): she made so many horny men happy (I think I reversed this saying in my other post in the other AN-S topic in the TV forum) and she has at least one kid who may not repeat the same mistakes her mother did.

That original article I posted said that the post-mortem eventually found a number of anti-depressants and methadone. Anyway, going unconscious doesn't necessarily kill you - but you could go unconscious before you die of something like a methadone overdose.

That's quite a shock, but given her past history of using drugs including Trimspa, it's not too surprising that she died of a possible overdose. I just wonder who is going to raise her new baby, who will now have a chance at a normal life.

Well, the Trimspa folks better get their marketing engines roaring to defeat this highly unlikely rumor.

No, the article said it was her son who had the methadone.

Some folks were talking about Anna's death in my computer class lab tonight. Frankly, it was a pop culture matter so, as usual, I had nothing to say that would have been considered 'funny' or 'thoughtful.' Only the legal and inheritance issues surrounding her life and death really interest me.

She was the face for Trimspa. Lots of people will take your pills after this...

Sorry for her death, and well, I may be the only one, but I think she died of simple moral grief. Too many problems: death of her son, the bahamas thing, the issue of the paternity of her girl... I guess whoever turns out to be the baby's father will be the one who raises her 8and yes, manage all the money until she turns 18 years old...). It must be weird to aknowledge that you had a mother and a brother you loved you, yet you never got to meet them...

Were there two Anna-Nicoles?? Because I'm hearing the press bemoaning the sad fate of a woman who was like Marilyn Monroe ! ! Erm, I thought Anna-Nicole was a buffoonish drug addict with little discernible talent. Didn't people tune into her TV show just to see her stumbling around intoxicated? Give the press enough time and they'll make her into a saint ! !
