A woman should be honored who displays the highest sensibilities of the American public...one that exemplifies their core values and obvious priorities, namely...........

Many people think Hamilton is famous only for the dual he had with Aaron Burr, which is of course not true, but whoever they replace him with, I'm OK with it.

My choice would be Deborah Sampson (1760-1827) who served, and was wounded, in the Revolutionary War as a trans* FTM teen-aged boy. Paul Revere himself was so impressed with her military service that he lobbied strongly for her to receive an "invalid soldier's pension." We even have an engraved portrait image of her which was produced in her lifetime ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deborah_Sampson ).

So, why not have a fighting patriot woman instead of "silk-hanky Hamilton"?

If we're gonna take someone off the currency, I think it should be Jackson.

Maybe we could replace him with Sacagawea.

"Silk-hanky Hamilton" doesn't hold a candle to U.S. President Andrew Jackson who received the first assassination attempt in U.S. presidential history and responded immediately by counter-attacking his assailant with a cane! While I won't apologize for Jackson's noted racism, I commend his work to stop a congressional re-chartering of the Second National Bank (the Federal Reserve Bank of his time).

All the while, Jackson's wife was humiliated unethically by journalists and opposition members of the Congress. She died of a heart attack two weeks after his election. Despite his relocation of many American Indians in the U.S. southeast, two of his adopted sons were American Indian.

A Photoshop color-pop of lipstick would look very becoming on him, too. I think dusky rose is his shade.

While Rosa Parks, Wilma Mankiller, Sacagawea, and Deborah Sampson are all EXCELLENT choices----especially, IMO, Wilma Mankiller; I'm a HUGE fan of hers----I voted for Eleanor Roosevelt.

In typical Aspie fashion, I'd rather there wasn't a change, AT ALL----I HATED when the bills got those really big pictures of the presidents, for instance, and REFUSED to accept them, for the longest time.
