I was as appalled as all of you were to see the photo of the "eye-gouging" on the Nickelodeon website this morning. That photo does not represent the tone or the point of our show; in fact, that image is nowhere in our show.

My deepest apologies. We have worked hard to produce a show that sends a message to neurotypical kids that different doesn't mean bad, and that we are all more alike than we are different. We have, we hope, produced a show about respect. I ask you to forgive a stupid mistake by someone working on the Nick website, and to give our show a chance.

By the way, we insisted that photo be taken off the website, and it has.

Well I am glad the eye picture is gone now. I did not get to see it (not that I am complaining).

I may actually be running this show at work on Sunday night, in which case I'll most definitely be watching. The promo for the show ran during this morning's Nick News...looks like a good show. I'm especially looking forward to seeing how autistics integrate with NTs, and seeing how the NTs feel about having autistic classmates.

If you're curious for a taste of the show, you can see the first 2 minutes of it at nick.com and tune in on Sunday night for the rest.

Depends on where your cable or satellite provider puts Nickelodeon in their lineup.

Just a reminder, it's on at 8:30 PM eastern Sunday night.

Do we know if they are ever going to post the whole show online?

No word. I think the first 2 minutes is all you'll ever see online.

And that's something to complain about? I don't mind having Spongebob over an Autism special (It's the kid in me! :3)

I'm not complaining. I just wondered.
