To be fair Christians have done plenty of terrible things in their history, in the name of their god and trying to spread their religion. Of course even most christians aren't extremists, but there has been very extremist behavior on the part of various christian groups throughout history. They have caused plenty of problems for many people and destroyed plenty of pre-christian culture.

I still think being so dedicated to a religion is a bad idea no matter how you slice it, its inevitable that extremism will come from that. I imagine if this country was a christian theocracy we would have an even more archaic system than we already do...lest we not forget the kinds of things that went on before the United States was established via the constitution. Basically if we had laws based upon christianity, it would probably allow for the exact kind of thing that is going on with the Islamic extremists.

Whoa whoa whoa, where are you getting this stuff from? I can't find anything about fresh attacks or hostages being executed.

CNN is doing live updates and the U.S. news media is now reporting live.

There is no independent confirmation of this.

Yeah that just makes it even worse...means the hostages mostly consist of young concert goers, based that band being the one playing. Go to a concert, get shot or taken hostage instead of getting to enjoy music that is a terrible thing.
