GunTV to Launch in January 2016
Great. I hope they sell lots of firearms and make tons of money. I wouldn't buy anything from a TV channel myself, but obviously some people have different preferences.
And there is overwhelming evidence that more firearms in the hands of ordinary citizens results in less crime.

Also, it's simple to take guns away. Pass a constitutional amendment revoking the 2nd amendment. That's all they have to do. That's ALL they have to do.
You are joking aren't you?
Yes and no.
It IS all they have to do. It's just not bloody likely. However, I think it's important to point out to the gun control advocates that there is a mechanism in place to do exactly as they wish. Until then, "shall not be infringed" is pretty definitive.

THERE you are, Raptor----I've missed seeing your posts!!
I'm never very far away.
Miss my posts???
Most people are disgusted with my posts or at least disturbed......which is why I keep posting.
LOL EXCELLENT!!
I like the Gun TV thing in principle but the practical side of it is silly as s**t. It wold never occur to me to buy anything via TV shopping, let alone guns. I thought TV shopping was only for a rapidly dwindling number of old people who havent yet discovered they can do more online than e-mail and facebook.
Yeah, that's, pretty-much, me, too----that's why I didn't comment on my OP, cuz I wasn't really sure what I thought of it.
Any gun I've owned, I've been given as a present----beginning at age 12, for a birthday present----but, I feel if I wanted to buy one for myself, I would want to go to the store and see it / check-it-out, etc.

Possible but so far from likelihood to call it impossible for all practical purposes.
To be on record as having voted for a constitutional amendment to repeal the 2nd would be career suicide for too many congressmen. They want re-elected more than anything. Even those who are not exactly in love with the right to bear arms but are in love with the constituion in general would be piossed since it puts the constition on a slippery slope.
Even if repealing the 2nd did take place too many politicians will still take a beating if they vote on anything anti-gun, enumerated right or not. Even a total ban would only create a lucrative black market with all the trappings associated with black markets.
