Are we discussing "white" as a race?? A matter of hair texture and skin pigmentation, with people who possess the favored types or types occupying a codified position of favor in society??
f**k that s**t. Nobody is greater than anyone else because of their physical features. The worth of a person is determined by their behavior.
Or are we discussing "white" as a culture?? A matter of valuing a work ethic, a measure of self-reliance, helping each other, respect for other people, fairness to others as well as oneself, and not expecting to build a life of luxury fencing hot s**t, selling drugs, and hustling welfare when one is perfectly capable of working (even if one's first undertaking must be to create a job or relocate to where one can be found)??
If we're talking about THAT "white," then yes, please, let's make America white again. The worth of a person is determined by their behavior.
Of course, if we're talking about THAT white, I've met a lot of white people with dark skin and a lot of light-skinned people who ain't white.
Jim Crow was s**t. s**t and fucktarded garbage that needed to die. One could argue, in fact, that Jim Crow birthed ghetto culture. Seems a credible argument, since I see the same attitude and behaviors in poor and disenfranchised light-skinned people. My whole damn family these days.
There were some other values of that time that did, in fact, make America great.
Those values may not be Mr. Trump's values. I suspect that Mr. Trump's actual values are ones that would make America great-- for a small handful of very gifted, very well-connected, and/or very amoral people. For the rest of us, not so much.
The problem, as I see it, is that we in America tend to view life as a zero-sum game. And it IS a zero-sum game-- but only because we have set up a culture that rewards those who play it as such and win. Life is a zero-sum game because we choose to make it one.
We could make another choice. But I doubt we will.
This bigoted f**ktard certainly isn't. Mr. Trump certainly isn't. Ms. Clinton certainly isn't.
People generally don't.
