As for the facts thing, if I remember it was a misread of John Adams quote so he changed it to correct word soon as he realized he read out incorrect one. Same time Bush made a pretty good speech and had that "no new taxes" pledge.
(Then Bill who used that as a major shoehorn, reneged about us forgotten middle class. The ones that are in revolt now after continuous 2 decades of squeeze. Establishment sucks)
