I'm sorry, but you have to perform mental gymnastics to get around the fact that Trump was talking about himself. And if anything, rather than being an explanation of getting consent to touch a woman's vagina, this is really about Trump's contempt for women, and use of his status as a rich celebrity to violate them regardless if they wanted it or not.

I didn't say he wasn't talking about himself from personal experience. But I think he was also talking about the way people respond to celebrities in general.

The thing is he said, "they let you". People feel each other up all the time. They grab and fondle each others genitalia all the time. It's perfectly normal. It should be conservative fundies getting upset over that, not liberals. When someone lets you do something, they are not being violated. The point is, a person will let a celebrity do something they wouldn't let most anyone else do.

But the idea is to disregard all of that to purposely vilify by intentionally mislabeling it as violating.

He was bragging about how people worship celebrities and let them do things they wouldn't let joe blow do.

It's like the captain of the football team bragging about all the girls who let him get to second base.

It's usually simply called getting to second base. Most guys get to second base more than once after they enter their teens. It's something that would normally only be considered a vulgar sexual act by a prude or religious fundamentalist.

There's two choices:

A) He was bragging about women letting him get to second base.

It seems obvious people allow celebrities to do things, they wouldn't normally allow most anyone else.
