HuffPost isn't writing this story, though. These are quotes from a book being released on the 9th. I'm really looking forward to reading it.

Firmly on the left of most issues, and would not touch Bannon even wearing a hazmat suit.

with that cease and desist order, the publisher might be forced into censorship. IOW the book might already have been suppressed.

Lol you think it can be suppressed? Bannon would just leak it himself.

I think there's a difference in someone thoroughly detested as a horrid vile scumbag, suddenly being seen as a good guy. Different from just viewing a turncoat as a turncoat. But I can understand the left not wanting to have to admit to that.

problem with that^ is that I am yet to see anyone who thought he was a 'scumbag' now saying he is a good guy, they are just enjoying a turncoat turning on Trump. Also the whole 'the left' stuff, the sooner you give that a break the more credibility you would get, You sound like Fox News in 2016. It's just woeful generalising for the sake of name calling and actually gets you no where.

Hey wise old sage, read this which came before my post:

You didn't seem bothered by cyberdad's use of "the right", fancy that lulz.

I think it might be a cool day in Hell before the Guardian sees Bannon, the darling of the alt right, as a good guy or trustworthy!

I'm willing to admit I overstated. It just at fist seemed like huge irony. Still kinda does tbh.

hadn't seen his post to be honest, I was skimming the thread. But for you to announce that you will not raise your intelligence above 'he did it so I will do it' says an awful lot tbh.

anyway, we all know how you like your back and forths on here to go and I have no interest in going down that particular path. I will leave it there and wish you a happy new year.

I can see where you are coming from Ezra, though the people who I think will rally to Bannon now are the conservatives who disliked Trump all along. The enemy of their enemy will be their friend. And there really are conservatives who detest Trump, and have from the outset. Equally, I see mindblindness going on - here and other places - where some Trump supporters blindly assume that anyone who opposes Trump must be a "liberal", blind to the existence of the conservatives who truly regard Trump with abhorrence, and always have done.

I'm not saying 'he did it so I will do it' - I'm saying you were full of hot air.

Those only happen when someone decides to pull the type of pretentious stunt you just did.

What is it with guys in their 30's having a predilection for playing this Master Po to Grasshopper routine? It's thoroughly absurd and always leads to a train wreck. I never seem to get this from guys in their 50's because they really are wiser with age and know better. I am not the topic.

And that concldes the lesson for today.

and there we are, 'full of hot air' and 'pretentious', your standard back and forth I was suggesting. I genuinely can't remember seeing you on here when you are not just trying to be unpleasant and calling people names for disagreeing with you. Can you not just be positive and happy for 1 single day?

What happpend to, "anyway, we all know how you like your back and forths on here to go and I have no interest in going down that particular path. I will leave it there and wish you a happy new year."?

How much credibility does that give you? And I'm supposed to be positive and happy over all the demeaning snark you issued and I'm supposed to be polite to you for it? lmao. You have a lot to learn about decorum yourself before trying to teach it to others. You weren't just disagreeing with me, you were pompously lecturing me. Kraichgauer disagrees with me all the time and we get along just fine. So just stick to your original plan to not further derail this thread.

If it boils down to a question of whether you can either i) believe what Bannon is saying about Trump or ii) believe the sources that publish the squabbles I have to admit: watching Trump and Bannon go at each other amuses me. I don't care about them as individuals (never have). Trump is a business man and is on a big venture to make a lot of money by playing POTUS drawing on a particular demographic to support him on his quest. Bannon is a washed up ex-military or navy who yearns for a America ruled by a right wing authoritarian government. They are what they are.

Those educated folk (not the knuckle draggers) who chose to throw their lot behind Bannon and Trump (yes they voted for Bannon as well as he was Trump's strategist) don't have to debate the merits of news sources like we do here on WP. They simply have to read twitter. Trump and Bannon have written a lot of stuff that is already in the public eye. There is no need for a "lefto-pinko-commie" editor on Huff post or Washington post to supposedly meddle with either of their words. Twitter is a double edged sword.

I'm wondering what those "educated" Trumpfans will think now that the man "Trump himself trusted above all others to provide future directions for America" could resurrect an accusation that he (Trump) molested a 13 yr old girl says about the mental state of those in control of the free world
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world ... 27151.html

This is all in the public eye. No information that's been tampered with. So either the people running the US have as much integrity as a Mexican drug lord in terms of the number of lies they make or we have a paedophile as POTUS. Either way it's not a good look. Is it...
