Well, how about this? We've had illegal immigration for decades, and yet things here are little like they are in Central America, and to a large extent this country still maintains the rule of law. Illegal immigrants are a highly stigmatized, exploited group, and thus have just about zero chance at creating the conditions for a major cultural/linguistic replacement like that which happened in Anatolia after the Battle of Manzikert or southeastern Great Britain in the 5th and 6th centuries AD, wherein the invading groups (Turks in the former, Anglo-Saxons in the latter) quickly became socially prestigious and dominant.
That I think does respond to that poster, but I can't be quite sure. Thus, I was reluctant to be overly specific, since what that poster wrote was kinda vague.
