You can get meat cure at the local grocery.Anywhere people hunt it’s easily available.

I think the psychiatric fear prior to an execution will still be the same. Knowing you will never wake up.

Banning "Meat Cure" is pointless.  If someone is determined to commit suicide (or murder) they will find another way.  May as well ban sales of rope, knives, razors, gas wrenches, and extension cords by Amazon, too.

Yes it's tricky, one simple algorithm is age verification on particular products. There is a already a list of pharmaceuticals that are on a restricted list which doctors won't prescribe unless you have a specialist approval. But that's not going to work with suicidal people > 18 years old.

With murders, it's not individual items but the combination. Again a simple algorithm where a purchase is made of garbage bags, plastic sheets, HCL, quick set cement and a chainsaw should send a warning to Amazon that we have a potential "Dexter"

Sounds like a list any do-it-yourself type might have.

All this talk about poisons warms my dark heart before Valentine’s Day. As I teach my students, there are no “bad” chemicals. There are chemicals that you need to be aware of, not afraid of. However, any chemical can be misused for evil purposes in the wrong hands. That is part of human nature, to want to destroy one another.

Makes me sad how much you all seem to know about the topic.

It also makes me sad how easy it is for people to access all sorts of destructive information.

But the fault is more with the site that gave instructions than any vendor. What Amazon and other sites can and should do is alter the algorithm that shows "bought with" and "comparable" products.

What I know of the chemical: its bad for anyone's health. Our pediatrician was adamant we avoid allowing our kids to eat foods with it on the ingredient label.

Don’t breathe the aquaresia fumes ,, nor the sulfuric acid fumes. Hard on the tissues .

I remember a story about kids working at a restaurant taking hits on helium filled balloons to get the funny voice. Then one kid decided to take a hit directly from the helium tank itself and ended up exploding his lungs.

I know someone who attempted suicide by taking a bunch of Tylenol.

She would have succeeded too if she hadn't called her husband to tell him what she had done, and he hadn't gotten her to the hospital to get her stomach pumped. Or maybe he called 911 for and ambulance, I don't remember which.

Antihistamine + alcohol is a potent/toxic cocktail
