I live in a small city in Connecticut. Thus, I don't think that the Trump admin would get the publicity hit that he wants from targeting some random city in CT that most people haven't even heard of and haven't had enough demonization of it ingrained into them for years. Unless he decides to start targeting metros (of which I am in the Hartford metro).

Of course, fascists don't often stop with the big cities. The thing is that Trump is a shallow creature that likes big shows. But again... Who's really running this show? Miller, probably. I'm scared of that dude, he'd reduce my state to ashes if he could because we're blue.

Well, if the democratic socialists and progressives can infiltrate the Democrat party and do away with the DNC it might. There are some efforts to do that, but it hasn't picked up a ton of momentum. There is push-back from some leftists who don't think we should work with democrats, but democratic socialists and progressives have already tried running in third parties and that doesn't work. Makes more sense to get in there and reform the Democratic Party, like MAGA did to the Republican Party.
