I cannot believe the sincerity of the physician who labeled me with it. I wish I'd had your knowledge, gumption and quick reactions at the time Merle.
For some reason it makes me feel just a little better wishing I had done that; I guess it is better to wish I had done X rather than having no clue what I could have done differently.

Well, I knew I was burning my bridges when I did it, Pandd. I knew he would never agree to see me again, but to be fair, I didn't want to see him again either. Perhaps that part of people are either OK by me or dead to me was right. The irony is . . .they have you in a box, if you stand up for yourself, it just reinforces their DX.

When I was young I took the Bob Dylan quote "When you got nothin', ya' got nothing to lose." as my motto. If you have other ideas of how you want to live your life, you might not want to be so quick on the draw as I am. I can be quiet if it will get me what I really need or want, but I can't suffer fools very long before the truth blurts out of my mouth, unbidden.

It was not exactly a "close" relationship (first meeting) and it did end immediately after that visit (I have not seen him since).

well, at some point, what is the use of having the DX if we can't rock it? do they think we are a**es? well, give them something to work with, I say!
