I didn't read the article, but the KKK have beat neo-nazi's in adopting a road.

At least someone is going to clean the side of the road. Whether it a bunch of nazi's or prisoners, it doesn't matter to me, the road getting cleaned up.

There was also a flap the other day because the NAACP adopted part of the Jefferson Davies highway. :lol:

I heard about that. Apparently the state renamed that particular stretch of Highway "Rosa Parks Highway", later they were able to legitimately drop them from the program because no one ever showed up the clean the Highway.

Well, there's the hate-group Neo-Nazi's, and the, for lack of a better term "good" Neo-Nazi's.

Some Neo-Nazi's are good people. They believe in such things as morals, being nice and keeping the community clean. Of course the whole "master-race" thing is wrong on so many levels, but that doesn't mean they're completely evil.

Um, Neo-Nazis and similarly-minded people have been around for a long time. There are a lot of groups like this one. Just like there are a lot of environmental groups, board-game enthusiast groups, UFO enthusiast groups, etc.

Yep, society is full of all sorts of people, many of whom like to form groups based on a specific belief or interest. Nothing new about that.

At least this group is spending some of their time cleaning up the sides of a highway (which benefits everyone who uses the highway) instead of beating people up, or plotting to kill the president, or just sitting around watching Hitler speeches on DVD.

well, i'd rather there be no neo-nazis. to hell with all the "good" neo-nazis.

they should be picking themselves as well while theyre at it.

Well, I'd rather reality were different in MANY ways. But it isn't.

I'd also rather there were no hate groups of any kind. But I prefer free speech and freedom of expression. Unfortunately, even if there were more laws attempting to control what we can say and do, there would still be hate groups.

I don't expect to change much about the world that I live in, so I adapt as best I can. Accepting reality is a fundamental part of that adaptation.

neo-nazi's have an idea that whites are the only people who should have any power, they also believe that races shouldn't mix but from what i read in the article none of those taking part in the 'adopt a highway' scheme have commited any riminal acts.

there are certain religions that prohibit marrying outside of the religion, including one religion that doesn't allow the followers to find black people attractive. if you'd rather the neo-nazi's picked themselves off you should also wish certain religions were gone as they share similar views.
