I guess no more sex, drugs, and rock'n roll for her.

I wouldn't want to hear people having sex, that would gross me out, plus what if children are around you scar them for life!

She can have sex quieter, plus she was probably faking most of it to make her Husband happy.

Oh, for Christ's sake, what bullocks!! ! My parents were very loud AND went at it all the time when I was growing up, and I do mean ALL THE TIME. I heard them each and every time. It sure as hell did NOT "scar me for life", not by any means. And I didn't have a lot of the usual hangups and shame about sex that our culture keeps insisting on drilling into us, either. Why the hell would that "scar" children for life?

I'll tell you what would scar children for life. Being beaten, abused, neglected, living with alcoholic/drug-addicted or f**ked-up parents, that's what. But people are always so much more tolerant of violence rather than sex. I wonder how many of these nosy busybody killjoys would have reported her or been so upset if it had been the sounds of a child being beaten, abused or neglected.

And as far as faking it-I assure you that no only am I not quiet and demure during sex like so many people think a "good little girl" should be, but I do NOT have to "fake" it for hubby, believe me. There is nothing at all wrong with enjoying sex or expressing that enjoyment, period.

Hell, if I'd charged my parents for every time I heard them while growing up I'd be so rich I'd never have had to work a day in my life!!

Aspiegirl2001, This is the first time I've heard of this then again, of a personal nature I can recall how 10yrs back my neighbor whom was living beneath me at the time where I'd been living at complained to the police that I was making strange noises as well causing him grief by walking around my apartment..   .What was I suppose to do simply stay in one place and not move?As for the noises? Well, I did my best to be more or less not active shall we say.. So, in some ways I can understand in regard to the woman in the story yet, I'll say, for all of the things that go on in this world I'd not be surprised to notice something strange from time to time..
