Nice find, moit.

Well, I'll say you guys really got swept in the academic literature, because the reliable secondary sources in the field overwhelmingly say that climate change is happening, the earth is warming, and it's primarily due to artificial emissions of CO2. Instead of constantly whining and complaining about it, running to politicians and corporate lobbyists to find a shoulder to cry on, and engaging in feverish imaginings of how future generations may view us, you all should take my advice on this matter if you want to take academia:

GIT GUD

Climate change is an issue the Left are passionate about but the right wingers do not believe in climate change. Right wingers in business and government are doing whatever it takes to delay action on climate change they are all about maximising short term profits and do not care about the environmental impact.

However, their science articles are usually pretty good, if you measure them by their reliance on reliable secondary sources--basically systematic reviews and meta-analyses in peer-reviewed journals, as well as textbooks, especially postgrad textbooks published by academic presses--in the field. But therein lies the rub. If the reliable secondary sources in the field by and large say something you don't like, or don't agree with, then you may be unhappy with Wikipedia's coverage of that field. And if it's a topic that's been treated as a political issue, even when at its core it's a scientific issue, if a major political party disagrees with the reliable secondary sources, then for sure they are going to complain that Wikipedia's coverage is "political" because Wikipedia will rely primarily on the reliable scientific sources to describe and explain the subject--treating the political views as a separate matter, either sticking them in a separate section or splitting them off onto a satellite article.

The trouble with that is the fact I was trained in logical, rational, objective critical thinking at the: "Vulcan Institute of Reasoning".
I can smell kaka a mile off.
And there is a lot of it around *everywhere*. :eew:

Bottom line is:
If the subject has anything to do with politics,
Bring a lorry full of rock salt.
If it doesn't,
A table-salt-shaker will suffice.

Wow!
*ALL* of dem nasty Reich-wingers?
*Every* single one of them?

That is one powerful statement,
And totally false in its inclusivity. 8O

Noice dichotomy though.

A science issue that's really a political issue with religious overtones. Nothing to be skeptical of here folks, move along.

The Guardian is now claiming that Climate change denial was defeated in 2019.

Methinks that, like their past predictions of doom-and-gloom we're-all-gonna-fry 'Climate Crisis', this too will be shown to have little or no basis in fact.

Although admittedly anecdotal, the trend that I'm seeing both on the web and in meatspace is that increasing numbers of people are beginning to recognize CAGW for the fraud that it is.

OTOH, the voices of CAGW promoters are morphing into strident cries of urgency.
(global warming -> climate change -> climate emergency and now climate crisis.)

2020 is going to be an interesting year.
