I don't know how it is in the rest of the world, but in USA school is all about control and conforming.
I am an old lady now, but in my day I rebelled - take that lunch to school!! !!
In my day it was wearing no stockings with the mandatory dress, flag shirts, and sandals. Got sent home a lot.
The world is pretty stupid and screwed up - the lunch factor is pretty minor - but I hope the kids do not take it lying down.
Hmmm, well... I don't know... I never quite enjoyed my lunches, made by my mom or myself... =/ And recently at the student café i worked at this session (which is imminentely ending), we've received some new products from one of our contractors, they are supposed to be in an effort to make healthier food for "kids" (that means, not targeted at young adults, but teens and lower) instead of the usual junk food cafeterias serve , and i have to say : It is delicious. o.o All the (new) sandwiches (because there are also old ones) were always gone before noon. I almost consider it an unofficial achievement to have successfully been able to taste all 3 of the new ones. =P
Also, welcome to WP, my neighbor of the south. :p
