I have to wonder, if porn were outlawed - and that were somehow enforced - how many leading Republicans would get arrested?

only the ones low-ranking enough and dull-witted enough to get caught. a TOS episode, "all our yesterdays" is illustrative of this.

I'm a little embarrassed to ask, but what does TOS stand for?

just imagine next november, having president-elect ooze waving his arms over his head like a stinking great hairy ape. he will be a POS to me. :x you can take your pick as to what that stands for. [President Ooze Sanctimony, or Priggishly Oozing Sanctimony, or similar] when i was a young man living in washington dc, i remember the ubiquitous "ed meese is a pig" stickers plastered on just about every horizontal and vertical spot. something similar will have to be done for this POS.

Ah, The Original Star Trek! I should have realized that! Thanks. 8)
Personally, I don't think this country is so backward and inbred as to elect frothy. Especially when Obama's people fill the airwaves with his plans to force his religious agenda on the rest of us by allowing states to outlaw birth control. As a matter of fact, more and more of Republicans are taking up the battle cry of ending birth control. You know the old saying - Those who the gods destroy, they first make mad.

we are in a nation that reelected shrub by a landslide, i wouldn't put anything past such a perverse place. keep your expectations low, and then at least you will be pleasantly surprised at least once every generation or so 8)

OMG so true!! This republican primary is pure insanity. I think the republicans trying to throw this election to Obama...I mean really....they cant be that stupid to put that motley crew out there and convince america they are electable??! !??
Becides Obama does what he is told, and what is better than to blame a black man for America's fall from grace.
I writing in Oprah!! !

It just goes to show you how disconnected from reality that Republicans are.

it doesn't matter so much how disconnected from reality the repubs are, what really matters is how disconnected from reality voters will be this november.

Ooh, sorry, auntblabby, it stands for The Original Series.

It was coined to distinguish, "Star Trek--TNG," from its earlier progenitor and the acronym was meant to parallel the acronym from the second series' title.

Hey, careful there! I live in a rural area and I'm gay and don't vote Republican or other right wing party. And I'm not the only one. We even have an "Occupy" group in our little burg.

Everything you said applies to me, except the gay part. By chance, do you live in Spokane? Because I live in Spokane Valley, just to the east.

Exceptions duly noted. Compared to where I'm at in the Seattle area, I'd still say y'all are in Red territory though. Occasionally the non-Washingtonians need to be reminded that our state is sort of bifurcated politically, since Seattle tends to get all the attention when it's really a political island in a chain running down the Western half of the state rather than the consensus of the whole place.
