I was devastated when i heard the news.
I am sure they wil both have a hard time finding new partners.

Because it's not exactly life shattering news for us, what with a sleazy government and our troops dying in Iraq / Afghanistan practically everyday.

William seems OK (certainly better than his dad) and may well make a decent King. But at the end of the day the real power lies in the elected government anyway. Sad for them, but it's happened to hundreds of couples at the same time - it's just life.

Maybe I was shocked at the violent death of a young mother with two young children, but the hysterical outpouring of grief for someone that people didn't personally know was over-the-top IMO.
