Hate to say it: but the "white people" still are a considerable majority in the United States----to the tune of about 75-25 in favor of the "whites." This includes "white Hispanics."

There are majorities of "minorities" in most major cities, though----including New York City.

Being Caucasian is not so much a recessive trait as a blendable or "mixed dominance" trait. This is why a child of Japanese and English parents looks neither wholly Japanese nor wholly English, but something in-between or "blended".

I dunno... I still think Caucasians are destined to one day become a true minority, and then the tables will turn on them.

You know what-----I don't really care if "white people" become a minority.

And no....the "tables will not be turned" on them.

Most people I meet just aren't that "racial."

I'm sorry... but I think in the end hostilities for things done in the past will always resurface. People can hold onto grudges for things done to their ancestors for decades or even centuries.

I believe that what goes around comes around. I'm not saying I want things to be that way, it's just how it us.

People almost always evolve from the past----especially if they are educated.

People have been prophesizing a "race war" for years---including nuts like Charles Manson.

The conditions were ripe for one (trust me) in the 1960s. That didn't come into fruition. Times were much more tense then than they are now.

And sadly many people aren't educated. That's where most of humanity's failings come from is a lack of education.

I believe one of the main reasons why there won't be a "race war" is because of economic expediency. Another is laziness/apathy.

There were lots of people unemployed in the 1930s. Then, conditions were quite ripe for a "race war" because many people were idle and had nothing better to do. Even then, no "race war" happened.

I guess America's laziness isn't so bad then. Let's embrace it!

Speaking of white supremacists, my great uncle was actually in the KKK.

I find that very ironic because my Mom's first husband was Hawaiian and one of my uncles is a black guy.

I have people in my family who aren't the least bit racist (or homophobic) and yet I also had a guy who was in the KKK.

I'm glad I never met him.

I kind of feel like Forrest Gump. I think anybody who has watched that movie will get what I mean by that. I think he was actually named after that racist Confederate general that had ties to the KKK, and yet Forrest himself wasn't the least bit prejudice and his mom and his friend Jenny all seemed pretty tolerant too.

Did your great-uncle renounce the KKK at a later date?

I don't mean if he, instead, started using language like "white rights" or whatever to hide his KKK membership.

I mean....did he really become a better person?

I never knew the guy. He was married to my aunt (my grandmother's sister) and she passed away a few years ago and I think they divorced before I was born.

I get the feeling he never changed, and he wouldn't have been the only racist in my family either.

My other uncle used to call my dad an "Island n****r" and I think he once referred to me as a "White Island n****r".

They will be assimilated, and their uniqueness will be added to the human collective. Resistance is inevitable, but futile. One day, millennia from now, the entire human species will look more homogeneous.

That has already occurred in my family. Out of 8 cousins I have 1 who is half Asian, 3 who are 1/4 black and 4 who are half Hispanic. I am the only whitie in my generation.

If I were to read all of the human races based on cartomancy/tarot cards, I'd say that the hair, eye, and skin colors of the court cards actually reflect on racial issues perfectly.

Hearts and Diamonds are definetly Caucasians (especially ones from Northern Europe). Hearts being blonde haired and blue eyed with fair skin, Diamonds being light brown hair, red hair, or dirty blonde with blue eyes, green eye, or light brown eyes. A combination of wealth and a better lifestyle iow 'white privilage'.

Clubs can describe your Caucasians with dark hair and dark or light eyes and light skin. Like people from the countries in the Mediterranean. I think they can also describe Asians and Jewish people with light skin and dark hair. Clubs are associated with hard work, wisdom, and creativity.

Spades can describe people around the world with dark skin, dark eyes, and dark hair. People like Africans, Arabics, Native Americans, dark-skinned Hispanics, Polynesians, Aborigines, etc. Spades represent "overcoming obstacles" in life, and often involve misfortune. Considering what the European colonists have done to so many of the countries in Africa, North and South America, Australia, the islands, and the Middle East, I'd say it's a fitting description. These people have been screwed over a lot.

Of course I don't believe in judging a person's character based on coloring. That's stereotyping. But for ethnic cultures around the world it makes sense in a way.

Blah, blah, blah.

It was a Proclamation required by state law.

Forrest's actual involvement in the Klan is unknown. He even left the organisation.

This is just one more thing for lefties to complain about.
