If people get huffy when you don’t give credit card info, it’s a scam.

yeah that's how i began realizing. because of her anger.

i fell for her preliminary talk though, even though i told her i don't think that radiation sounds healthy, she said as an alternative they can have someone come by my house and spray the lawn with a special spray that does the same thing.

and i fell for that and gave her my name, date of birth, etc.

if she had remained calm when i said, sorry i don't have a credit card-- then i might have fallen for it at that time and given the debit info..

well it's sort of funny to think of now

It has to stay in the UV light for enough time to deactivate the virus. Swiping a banknote with a conventional counterfeit scanner is not nearly enough time to do damage to the virus. The light source must be of a much higher energy for it to do damage that fast. There is a certain amount of energy that is required to break chemical bond within RNA. If not enough energy is given, the bonds will stay and the virus is still active.

Killing of biological germs using UV light is similar in action. The UV scanners for cleaning hospital rooms is of a very high energy beam, so no people can be in the room while it is being used. It would give the same net effect of x-ray exposures over time.

hey it was a thought.

actually that reminds me of michael jackson, and he gave his credit card to children's families all the time. including that liar (one of them). maybe there is some truth to the theory that he had autism of some kind >_> or maybe just really generous.

You had the right idea, it is just that the UV lamp in the device is likely too weak and it would have to be left in the light longer. I am pretty sure that someone will start commercializing the process of decontaminating money for banks given enough time. The catch is to not destroy the money in the process, so it may take a long time to do with low energy UV lamps.

Guess the moral of the story is, don't give random people your money.

I just remembered one I just about fell for. Was going to buy something for somebody, and they had me buy a card with money on it for a little cheaper than what I was going to pay. On the phone they asked me to scratch off the pin and tell them the number. Didn't think nothing of it at all until I read off half of them and said "wait.... Wait...." *Hang up*.

Yeah we're easier targets guys, but don't give up your cash that easy.

Something else money-related is that people can charge you for services you don't need.

(NOT ASD, she SPECIFICALLY said so--- but a woman with Williams Syndrome --there is a youtube video of her-- related how a dentist said she needed a lot of her teeth removed, and afterwards it was found she was being lied to by him so he could get more money)

People can mislead you to exacerbate something, so they get paid more.

People can lie about work you need done on the car, etc. Asking around is crucial.

Checking about things with others and asking trustworthy people like my sister to handle it when I don't know what to do,
is how I learn I was being tricked..

I recently learned from my new lawyer, that my old lawyer hadn't accounted XH's support and he is only paying me child support, not the spousal that he was obliged to. On top of which he is earning much more than he said he is and a higher level job that he took on as soon as the case conference with judge was over (she checked his LinkedIn account and told me).. she said he should have raised child support accordingly, as what I get now is barely enough for anyone to get by, but he hasn't.

Meanwhile, he was about to get me to sign on something to exempt him from having to pay child support ever again , although legally he has to for the disabled child.

A NT person might see this straight away but with me these things are only in retrospect.

You too? You're the fourth person to tell me that- 2 in regular life, 2 online now.
My case cannot be put down to anything other than intentional fraud and taking advantage of someone when they're down (and generally gullible/easy to scam)
, as I gave many excuses and looking for ways to put the blame and responsibility on myself--
and God kept putting forth situations in odd ways, to show me it wasn't about me so much.

The dental anecdote is really sad though (of the lady with Williams Syndrome). Because she went through the physical pain and her teeth are gone, for nothing, as well as her money. And being put under that many times for operations you don't need.

there is. The Law Association.

I called them at one point.

They did let me know (not in very clear words) that I had a right to my file -
but they did it in a weird way- they didn't realize I didn't know that I had the right
So when the lady let slip a 'and you say they didn't give it to you??" and i said, 'oh, so they SHOULD have, right?'

she was like , "sorry, i cannot discuss that with you. you would have to arrange a meeting for a fee with one of the
lawyers on our team to go into that."
if you want to, you're welcome to file a complaint
or consult with them (FOR A FEE OF COURSE) like that to see if your issue is valid in the first place
 :skull:

I went to the dollar store today (I wore a mask and gloves, don't worry), and on my way home I noticed a lot of taxis around. I wonder if they're accepting debit since I've always paid them in cash. I also wonder how sanitary and careful the drivers are being. A person in their cab could be carrying the virus and they just don't know it, but it can still infect them or any other people they pick up.

might google what the process is to file this complaint ,... ask where to find forms and where to send this complaint, might have to be insistant on this issue . Do not ask about validity.... just get information "how to" . Please do not let them distract you . But be patient when dealing with intolerable people.

If they attempt to distract you , ask for where or whom do you need to deal with or talk to ,,to get this done .To simplify it , just say you are wanting to know where to get this legal complaint document filed. ? might inquire about legal aide services .?

No i don't want to complain to law association ..

. I made some issues known to their office manager, as much as was relevant to my argument
that i shouldnt be charged for a specific thing--

i CC'd them both so they knew what I was saying, if they wanted reply they could -

(i didn't go into much detail as one would in a formal
complaint-

left it vague so if she wished she could look into it --
i doubt she will, she's probably just as frightened of that man as I was).

besides that i do believe the man,
at least, was oftentimes helpful/sincere (not always),
so if he sees how a person can complain, they might not do it to someone else next time.
