Didn't Biden's family eventually admit he has prostate cancer?

And I'm sorry (not really) but not only do I believe that the public has the right to know about our leader's health but I also don't believe in allowing people as old as my late grandfather to run a whole country. It's a form of exploitation of the elderly as far as I am concerned.

I believe in setting age limits for our lawmakers and leaders.

His family did in fact release that cancer diagnosis.
In such extreme cases, I do believe we need to know if the President is up to the job.
After Trump's gone, I think the idea of age limits will be floated around congress. Whether they act on it or not is an entirely different matter.

You don’t have to go to the Soviet Union to find examples. Woodrow Wilson had a massive stroke and his wife ran the country. Franklin Roosevelt was in a wheelchair his whole Presidency and the public did not know. JFK was on many medications due to excruciating back pain among other things and the public did know.

That was a different era, the press was deferential both to the office and his personal life. In that era people believed peoples personal life was nobody else's business.

That was then, this is now. As with Biden if the social media doctors are on to something we will find out. As for right now I don’t see anything out of the ordinary for a person his age.

No media except for newspaper in Wilsons day, FDR there was radio and with JFK being on meds is a bit less obvious. There was not the means to dig up stuff on people as easy. I do believe Biden's health and condition were covered up, it's kind of obvious his brain was turning to mashed potato's.

Trump, yes I agree with a couple others, something doesn't seem right. It's been a long time since a VP has had to step in and assume the office. This could get interesting.

We can all be thankful for that, but keep him away from Putin and Xi. A hot mic moment revealed they were discussing making themselves immoral. If you are Falun Gong, I suggest you run for the hills.

And the health checks indicated that Biden was fully compos mentis. I wouldn't take health reports too seriously when it comes to politicians, or any powerful individuals. Medical professionals initially also indicated that the COVID virus couldn't possibly have been the result of a leak from the Wuhan COVID Lab, remember? You really can't take anything at face value and never could. That is why critical thinking is so important.

If he is in good health then how come he has an orange face? I read somewhere that an orange face can mean ill health in older people.

Or maybe he's a man-size oompa loompa.

I always thought his orange complexion was the result of a fake tanning product, but it is also a possibility that an ancestor of his may be an Oompa Loompa.

The sad part is that even if and when Trump croaks the damage is already done and the rot has set it. I don't believe there is going to be any recovery from this. :(

I've been worrying about that for some time now.

Agrees with the above,, yes he maybe sick but not like was intended originally in this Thread, But Vance seems to be a possibly worse option. :skull: . Am actually concerned about the entire Republican members of Congress siding with him. Aswell .

I am more hopeful than you are. A lot of people are accommodating this orange clown because he could "your fired" them if they are in his administration, etc, or make it very difficult for them elsewhere. I have noticed a number of fervent progressives changing their tune and sidling up to that human abomination. Hopefully, after his term in the Presidency, sanity and relative normality will once again prevail.

Vance is an extremely disagreeable person, but at least he is rational. Trump works on his gut feelings and which side of the bed he gets out of. I know which of the two I prefer, though neither would be better. Rubio has a moral compass, at least. Keep in mind, Vance was an extremely heavy critic of Trump originally. He is playing a part to gain the favour of his orange overlord. What will happen with Vance after Trump vacates the Presidency is anyone's guess, IMO.

I wish I could be more hopeful but this kind of stuff happens to other countries all the time and sometimes they never recover from being transformed into autocratic dictatorships.

And the really messed up part of all this is that I get the feeling that a lot of people don't want us to ever recover from Trump. I can't begin to tell you how many tankies and CCP/Kremlin simps I see all over the internet rooting for our downfall because America is allegedly an evil empire.

I just don't get it.

Except that Vance is a fan of neo-fascist Peter Thiel, and has in the past spoken of America as being in its "late republic phase," which is an obvious comparison between America and ancient Rome just prior to the rise of the emperors.
