Iowa woman runs over 14yo girl “because she was a Mexican”

I can believe that. And I don't know what the answer is. I only know what it isn't. And the rash of fake calls in places like Texas, where cops were ambushed at the end of the Obama era, wasn't the answer.
I believe racism is evil. In the Bible, Moses married a woman from Ethiopia. Moses' sister made fun of her and was stricken with Leprosy for 7 days. Moses' prayed and she was restored, but God does not like racism. These people, like the one this thread is about will go straight to hell, unless they change.

In her universe, if you think BLM has a point, then no you do not, no matter what you say.
I don't even know what this means.
You have a tendency to baselessly defame them by repeating long since debunked claims about violence tied to BLM.

My husband and I worked hard for that healthcare. Me for 15 years, him for 35 years and counting. We don't want your version of healthcare. And we shouldn't have that right infringed upon by a universal system. So, we work for better.

So since you got yours already, you'd rather ration health care by who can afford it. OK.
FYI, there is no delay for emergency treatment or cancer care; the delays are for what are called elective treatments, basically stuff that can wait. But since you have yours already, you'd rather go to the front of the line, since you think you deserve it by having attained your economic position.
Work for better... I didn't always have healthcare. In fact, the first 24 years of my life, I didn't. I worked hard and got healthcare.
I would challenge you to follow your own logic. Just because you have sh***y healthcare/coverage, whatever.... don't ask me to let go of my good care/coverage.

This isn't really about me. I already have good coverage.
But I guess in your cutthroat might makes right world, the only advocates for universal health care are those with crappy coverage who are just being little crybabies.

I could accuse you of same. You baselessly defame all Trump supporters... It takes a few clicks of the button to look up the violence towards police at the end of the Obama era as some sort of retribution for police violence against blacks. If you don't want to believe it, don't. I don't really care.

I don't think about them much, until conversations like this. I did my time as one of them, then pulled myself up out of it. Do it, or don't.
So you think it's fully a matter of individual choice and hardwork? Just do those 2 and you'll be fine?

I don't Kortie. I just lose track of who I'm talking to when I keep getting a bunch of replys. I've always found you to be very rational and you're one of my all time favorite WP members.
Hope you have an awesome New Year, btw.

Well, we're still at an impasse. A lot of people are uninsured or underinsured, still. Whereas, in all the rest of NATO, this is not an issue.

Believe what you like about me, I have nothing to prove to anyone except myself and those I love.

I've researched it thoroughly, not a single case could be directly tied to BLM. The vast majority of the cases involved white gunmen who were sovereign citizens targeting law enforcement, others were black sovereign citizens affiliated with black separatist movements and an other was a disgruntled black ex-cop. Christopher Dorner and the Baton Rouge shootings were the ones that the strongest connections existed - they had both visited BLM Facebook pages, but that doesn't imply membership and in the case of the Baton Rouge shooter he had openly criticized BLM.
I don't baselessly defame Trump supporters, merely those on the right who either intentionally or ignorantly spread white nationalist talking points. The fact that those two highly overlap isn't my fault and I'm well within my rights to keep drawing attention to it. As long as the right openly embraces white nationalists they'll be tainted by their voluntary association with them.

And we are going to stay at an impasse. You think that just because someone exists they have a right to everything... I don't. I don't view life as the be all, end all. If I ever find myself in a predicament where I am a burden, I don't want to continue to exist. That's demeaning. I want to live only as long as I am the master of my own destiny. If ever I am not, take a lesson from the great poet and frontman of The Doors and 'turn out the light.'
In fact, I have it written that as soon as I am not of sound mind, I'm to be taken to Hospice. Or, if I am of sound mind and diagnosed with a terminal illness, or some form of cancer that is going to involve all kinds of treatment, I'm walking into Hospice myself.

I'm tired of well spoken useless idiots (to the vast majority of everyday, hardworking Americans). They get up, speak liquid gold and only benefit the rejects. Maybe some people here consider themselves rejects, I personally don't feel that way about myself.

I oppose universal healthcare because you are asking for someone else to be responsible for what you, yourself cannot afford. We are owed nothing... Nobody is responsible for my well being but me.
Universal healthcare costs everyone less money and provides a better level of care. I know because I’m Canadian.
You’d rather pay more money to deny some of the poorest people in your country adequate healthcare than less money to provide decent healthcare for all?
