Trump walked right into it by refusing to condemn the Nazis till the media had to practically twist his arm to do it.

So what I said above is correct.

Only because he had interjected himself into the white supremacist side. You make it sound as if it's undeserved.

It has certainly been opportunistic. See it seems like you guys do not really care as much about Heather Heyer as you do about using what happened to campaign against Trump and the right. I think going on and on about nazis everywhere is not really that much of a worry and is really just about campaigning against Trump and the right. The left in general really seems to be into exploitation.

It's not the first time Trump openly supported the far right.

He re-tweeted a post from this woman
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/worl ... 82001.html
another far right re-tweet
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles ... cial-media

He knows what he is doing...

I'm sure the right said the exact same thing during the civil rights movement.

Actually they still do...that much hasn't changed...just the tone of their language is a little more covert

What is going on these days has slowed down what the civil rights movement set out to accomplish. And based on stuff Johnson said as far as the white liberals go votes was a big motivator. Votes rather than actual progress would explain why the progress has gone slower than it should have.

I count Johnson's actions to be of more worth than his words.
You also choose not to consider Johnson's pro-minority and social justice words.
Are you serious that less black voters would have helped civil rights more?!?!?!

If it wasn't for heroes like General Lee there wouldn't be a Charlottesville, it would have been burned to the ground like other towns were during the war of northern aggression.

Welfare destroyed black families. Liberals support it because they see non whites as lesser being and not capable of helping themselves.

If it wasn't for traitors like Lee, there wouldn't have been any need to burn those towns.
War of Northern Aggression? How about war of Southern Treason?
As if blacks had it so good before liberals sought to help keep them alive with social programs. And for your information, there are plenty of blacks doing well without government help, while there are even more whites than blacks on welfare.
Stop trying to teach me my own country's history.
