I think there are Australian travel warnings about tourism to Poland which is strange because trip advisor is still selling Poland to tourists
https://www.tripadvisor.com.au/Tourism- ... tions.html

In the same way Holland sells their tourism on famous artists like Van Gough, Poland has some very famous musicians like Frederic Chopin which could be incorporated into heritage/museum/music appreciation travel.

Are there?
https://www.smartraveller.gov.au/destin ... ope/poland
Problems:
1. Be wary of flight disruptions (half of Polish airspace is closed for civilian traffic);
2. Do not cross from Poland to Ukraine - high danger!
3. Closed areas around Białowieża Forest;
4. Covid restrictions are nearly non-existent.

Does not sound like "no-go" to me.

They are.
We have quite a lot of Chopin tourism, especially from Japan.

Yes there were restrictions in place regarding COVID and warnings about travel to border areas with Ukraine due to security issues. But yes, the situation according to DFAT is normalised now.

Covid turns out highly seasonal here, it will be a problem again in October - but until then, enjoy covid-free Northern summer.

That's why the English refer to Australia and NZ as the antipodes as everything is upside down to UK.
Even the water circles the drain reverse.

And the Sun on the sky travels counter-clockwise.

That was pretty weird when I was in Argentina: I boarded the plane at the end of Summer to leave it and see celebrations of Spring Day.
Somehow confusing feeling, even if you perfectly know why it is that way.

Fundamentally possible but I wouldn't recommend Poland for your Northern Autumn.
It's rather gray here then.

I recommend Vermont, New Hampshire or Maine in early to mid October. It's absolutely gorgeous in Autumn.

Canada will be nice too. But, if you want to see the colors you need to check local area for best time. The further north or south you go the earlier or later peak foliage occurs.
