OBL is one head of thousands of terrorist leaders in the world. 30 other known VPs of Al Qaeda are more than capable of taking over from OBL. In my view/opinion OBL was made bigger than what he is by the commercial media. The over hype made him larger than life. If OBL is as big as the media claim he will more than likely become a martyr that will strengthen the Terrorists cause.

Terrorists and suicide bombers become martyrs every day through violent attacks through the world in the name of religion or insanity. A terrorist is nothing more than another criminal and they can never be stopped. The war on terror can never be won because the terrorists are the hidden enemy within.

To the West and most of the world OBL is seen as a crazy religious fundamentalist terrorist whose fanatical beliefs lead to 9/11 and other terrorist attacks around the world. To the West justice has been served with the death of OBL but his death should not be celebrated. Mocking the death of any man is in bad taste and will only add fuel to the fire.

To his supporters he is seen as a Freedom fighter standing up against the social injustices perpetrated by the West.

Dead men don't wear plaid and dead men don't commit acts of terrorism.

Not everone in the East would think so given his targets made up of civilians. Trust me I have a pen pal from Pakistan who thinks so.

If I remember correctly you had posted about why it was a good idea to slaughter Muslims. That is no different than what Bin Laden wanted done more than anything, to attack anyone no matter who they were.

Just another Terrorist leader and an Islamic Fundamentalist preacher. His propaganda brainwashed a lot of people into following his Militant Islamic Terrorist Ideology. His loss will not make a difference due to Islamic Fundamentalism flourishing in war torn impoverished nations in the Middle East.

Middle Eastern Youth are easy to brainwash into following the Jihadi Terrorism. There is plenty of other crazy religious fundamentalists spreading violent propaganda to fuel Terrorism around the world.

Taliban and Al Qaeda have plenty of fanatical fighters and the loss of Bin Laden will make no difference to tribal terrorists who do not value human life.

That is why it is useful to shorten their life spans radically.

Osama Bin Laden's Hideout Compound can be found Here On Google Maps. It's labeled in big block letters for all to see. What a surprise to learn that after all these years we could have found Osama by just looking for his hideout in Google Maps! (sarcasm) Things were going just fine at the compound during late night meal festivities until someone ordered the seal, and then all hell broke loose. In Pakistan, seal has you for dinner.
