Let's get one things straight: 75% of all those on the spectrum have NEVER been officially diagnosed EVER so this story is misleading.

And sometimes getting a correct diagnosis can be like nailing jello to a tree. I've lost count of all my diagnoses. Not mention the moronic professionals who have no idea what they're talking about. Ranging everywhere from the bootstraps type fond of "tough love and discipline" to the snake's oil salesman who will say whatever you want to hear for a buck(usually much more).

My son is in a austim only school with 5 other boys and he's the only child thats even mostly white. In the last few years living in NV and NM we've seen lots of little boys and some little girls of all races and mixes that are on all parts of the specturm.

All the kids I knew or suspected might be autistic or on the spectrum was white I never met a minority with it,which is strange because a good half of my high school is minority where most of the time the lunch was something spicy,which I hated.Why couldn't be something with sausage or potatoes,I dont like heartburn,man I cant stand this everything becoming texmex all of a sudden or having chilies in it.What about bacon more things need bacon in it.

I am a minority so I know... I am Aspie and I am a minority, I can't help it.
