If true, this is entirely consistent with Hindu cosmology even if it appears to contradict the Christian view.

First of all, the bullseye image is a dramatization. The CMB features discussed are incredibly small. Not some sort of an obvious circle.

I have enormous respect for Penrose. I know him indirectly. I doubt he'd remember me. A former colleague of mine worked on the Twistor theory with him. This time however, he's making a wild guess. The observation he's referencing is below the noise threshold of the WMAP data. No accurate data = no theory.

What we have here is a statistical anomaly in the CMB data.
