This is how bad ppl in texas want rain....they are praying for a hurricane!!

Well Don is the man...alittle disorganized and got a bad case of of cant get his sh*t together...but he is coming to Texas.
The only thing is there is this couldren between Cuba and Texas...some call it the gulf. It is hot, hot, hot....great food for hurricanes. They think he will be a Cat 1 or 2 at landfall...which will be some wind and enough rain to make texans happy. Lets just hope that he doesnt throw a curveball and become a cat 4-5 with little time to evacuate.

Either way, I am going to fill up my gas tank...the refineries are on the coast of texas...they will use any excuse to raise gas prices.

thoughts??

Jojo

I've been hearing it's strengthening slowly though should still remain a tropical storm. The US is overdue for a landfalling hurricane, the last was in 2008. Texas is parched and they could use any rain they can get.

I wonder why Savannah, GA, although situated between south carolina and florida which are hit often, Savannah has not been impacted by a hurricane in over a hundred years. There was one that hit Savannah in 1999, but it really weakened before hitting and when I was there, we were told to evacuate. however, when we got back, it was like nothing happened. Not that I am wishing for a hard hitter in Savannah, but just curious why that is.

I hope that Tx gets alot of rain and nothing else. I am glad Don is not really increasing...I think that may be due to disorganization.
