What is it about the Japanese and the uncanny valley? First humanoid robots and now this.

What's wrong with humanoid robots? At least someone is trying to close the gap. If nothing else, old people will be thankful of it, when no one has time to take care of them, in the future. More likely, however, robots sooner or later will become self-aware, and actual persons..... I do love Chobits. It definitely is one of the very best animes ever.....

...Those chocolates do look creepy, though, but hey, that has its place too. At least it is a neat idea. I would be totally amused if my girlfriend (or my future one, anyway) gave me chocolates like that. n_n It'd be fun to eat them, too... haha. I could pretend I was doing something grotesque, while eating them. ;)
