This may be relevant to parents. I applaud the developers of this software for their work.

The theory behind this technology is that theses Apps will help Autistic children become more independent and "open up". My questions to the denizens of the BBS: Will this help or hurt in the long run?

They re-aired this episode a couple of days ago.
It brought tears to my eyes to see kids and most importantly adults who couldn't communicate at all suddenly have the gates open up to them.
It was a beautiful thing.
