I'd say it's a very clever way to get rid of an old junky mirror for 10x it's actual value. People love thrill seeking.

An old superstition is that you never hang a mirror on a wall that is also an exterior wall or spirits can pass thru into the house.
Plus if someone passes away you are suppose to cover the mirrors in that room because if you see your reflection in the mirror with the deceased you will be the next to go.
Maybe a bunch of kids were playing "Bloody Mary" with that mirror :lol:

Exactly. With him it would be 'a redundant gift'.

But one wonders if there isnt a voodoo doll made in the image of Hugo Chavez somewhere in the bowels of the State Department. I didnt consider him the worst guy in the world, but our government didnt get along very well with him. And he certainly had bad luck!
